Overview

We are currently looking for a competitive, and responsible sales professional with brand management experience to join a sales team in the Kansas market. This individual will support and design activities that will drive bottom-line growth to the organization as well as work hand in hand with multiple suppliers. The ideal candidate will have On Premise alcohol industry experience.  This individual must also have an ability to review analytical data and implement change strategies when necessary. This person will be responsible for developing and maintaining positive relationships with our customers, team members, and suppliers and own the responsibility for the success of their portfolio in their assigned market.

 

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for achieving goals for sales, distribution, features and menu placements.
  • Assist in planning and executing market events.

 

Profit & Return Responsibilities

    • Determine success of new items based on sales and
    • Constantly drive to improve gross margin percentage, improving the bottom-line
    • Grow market share using knowledge of competition and trends in the
    • Own the P&L for your suppliers and manage expenses to drive financial

Inventory

    • Set up new items by working with the compliance and pricing
    • Work closely with the purchasing team and operations to maintain adequate amount of inventory, resolve issues, and to act as an intermediary between the field and logistics.
    • Proactively work to manage inventory issues, namely aged

Marketing Responsibilities

    • Build and maintain a deep and passionate understanding of the industry specific to the selling team. Must be credible with suppliers, customers, and the rest of the selling team.
    • Partner with suppliers and Brand Management Team to develop and implement planning, pricing, allocations, and tactics which profitably drive product sales.
    • Drive execution of marketing efforts to ensure they translate into sales, margin and achieve supplier plans in the field by coordinating and supporting supplier visits, surveys and tastings.

Qualifications

The successful candidate will have the following education and experience:

  • Successful track record including delivering results in an analytic
  • Bachelor's Degree required. An equivalent combination of education and experience that is determined to be directly related to the foregoing specified requirements may be considered for
  • Ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects while meeting deadlines.
  • Strong persuasive presentations skills, including the ability to speak before varying audiences both internally and externally.
  • Knowledge of the alcoholic beverage industry
  • Passion for industry with the ability to continuously learn new brands and represent effectively to customers.
