Overview

We are seeking a versatile Graphics & Production Associate to join our busy Graphics Department. This role blends creative design work with hands-on production tasks in support of our sales representatives and retail partners. You’ll help create brand-compliant marketing materials and signage while also assisting with finishing, quality control, and job prep on both small and large format projects. We are looking for someone who is organized, detail-oriented, eager to learn, and comfortable shifting between computer-based design work and physical production tasks as needed.

 

This is an on-site role, based out of our Lenexa office.

Responsibilities

Design (75%)

  • Design and update print materials such as retail signage, menus, promotional collateral, and product displays.
  • Ensure all creative assets follow brand guidelines and maintain visual consistency.
  • Prepare accurate, press-ready artwork and review final files for quality and completeness.
  • Design, create, and upload template graphics to our graphics ordering website.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to align creative output with business needs.
  • Support mock-ups, creative problem-solving, and layout adjustments as needed.

Production & Finishing (25%)

  • Assist with finishing tasks including laminating, mounting, trimming, grommeting, folding, scoring, collating, and packaging.
  • Help maintain an organized production area, supplies, and job staging.
  • Support tracking of job status and prep materials for shipment or distribution.
  • Assist with small format print workflows under direction from the Department Manager and Production Lead.

Qualifications

  • Associate degree, bachelor’s degree, or relevant certification in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or related field preferred.
  • 1–3 years of experience in graphic design, print production, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, with working knowledge of InDesign and Photoshop.
  • Familiarity with print production standards (bleeds, DPI, CMYK, press-ready files).
  • Experience with production finishing preferred.
