Overview

This role is responsible for overseeing all aspects of purchasing and inventory management, including developing and executing strategies to support both short and long-term supply chain needs. The ideal candidate will bring strong analytical capabilities and demonstrated purchasing experience, with the ability to work both collaboratively and independently in a fast-paced, evolving environment.

Responsibilities

  • Lead demand planning and forecasting in Stock IQ, driving alignment between inventory levels and business demand to support service and growth objectives.
  • Optimize inventory performance by proactively managing key parameters (lead times, safety stock, order cycles), balancing service levels with inventory investment.
  • Own and drive the end-to-end purchase order process, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and accountability with suppliers.
  • Partner cross-functionally with logistics and sales teams to anticipate risks, resolve delays, and minimize business impact.
  • Ensure data integrity across ASW and Stock IQ, enabling accurate replenishment, planning, and decision-making.
  • Leverage exception reporting to identify trends, mitigate risks, and drive continuous process improvements.
  • Lead resolution of purchasing-related claims (freight damage, shortages), ensuring timely recovery and minimal financial impact.
  • Champion adherence to SOPs while identifying and implementing process improvements to enhance efficiency and consistency.

Qualifications

The successful candidate will have the following education and experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree is preferred, ideally in Business Administration, Finance, or Accounting.
  • Proven experience in purchasing and procurement.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to adapt to changing situations.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Highly collaborative, self-motivated, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Advanced Excel skills preferred.
